I LOVE christmas. Have already planned what I am buying everyone and have even started to pick up some gifts ready.
My 2 daughters will be 4 years and the baby 7 months at christmas and we know what we are getting them and will be buying them all ready in october. Want all presents done by november so can concentrate on getting other bits and bobs for christmas ready

I'm so jazzed for Christmas! I actually prefer the pre-Christmas excitement to the actual Christmas Day experience; once the household gift giving ends on Christmas morning, it tends to become stressful and filled with cooking, washing dishes and trying to keep guests happy. St. Stephens' Day is usually more mellow and family centric in our house. There doesn't seem to be the same pressure to "perform" and meet expectations.
That said, I'm still really REALLY excited for the Christmas Season to begin! Never mind September, my pre Christmas buzz always starts in early August. I get struck with the sudden urge to hear Christmas songs/carols, watch Christmas movies and TV specials and buy gifts for friends and family. I hate having to wait til late-November/early-December to actually do it all without looking insane.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one ; )

As soon as the weather starts to turn chilly, like right now :o), is when I start to get excited! My Hubby has made a 'grand-high house rule' though that states 'There shall be no singing of Christmas songs before Thanksgiving!', party pooper, *lol*. I agree with you, I turn 25 October 1st and I do not think you are _ever_ too old for Christmas!

I can't wait untill christmas!!
My birthday is 1st December and I spend the day putting up my xmas decorations.
My son will be just over a year old this christmas so I'm really excited about that, as he can open his own presents this year and we also have my step daughter with us for christmas dinner and I love having all my family around so I can't wait!

i'm a pre-Christmas lover! it is, i'm getting the Christmas feeling lengthy previously Christmas, yet lose it with out delay after. i am going to start up to video demonstrate Christmas videos in the course of the summer months. yet Christmas incredibly hits intense equipment for me in September. this is when I start up listening to the music, watching even better videos and start up my paying for. Christmas dies off for me round late January/early february. even though it always starts to floor back in April-might want to, and receives more suitable in simple terms on the tail end of summer. And so the cycle is going...

Certainly not I. But then maybe that's because I'm an old fuddy duddy. Christmas is not celebrated for the religious purpose is once was. Well in many cases it isn't.
The hype and commercialism that is thrown at all of us is far too much for most of us. Christmas means billions of pounds of revenue for lots of major companies, who probably make most of their mega profits this time of the year.
If your on a limited budget the cost of christmas is, and can be far more than one can afford. Did you know that people use their credit cards to pay for xmas, and it takes nearly three months of the new year to pay for what they have spent.
Toys for the kids, presents for those you only see once a year anyway. I'd better stop now before you get very annoyed and blast my outburst.
Merry Christmas to you and whoever.
