What's your favorite part of Christmas? Think about something that not everyone recognizes on Christmas and you can write an amazing story. Please do not copy, I wrote a Christmas story about a magic snow globe that can do amazing things because I love snow globes and it just shows how much they mean on Christmas. Listen to Christmas songs and watch Christmas movies. A big tip! In all Christmas stories and books I've read it involves magic. Bring the Christmas spirit into readers minds. I hope I helped!

Any good Christmas story takes the reader somewhere horrible or scary and then brings them back again to make them realise just how happy they should be to have the lives that they have got. Examples in point: It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol. Both take the main character somewhere uncomfortable or scary, then bring them back to show them that their normal lives are blessed. It's this feeling of being glad to have what you do have (and not moaning about what you don't have) that makes it a good Christmas story, that and some snow, feasting and other typical Christmassy stuff thrown in for good measure.
So take a main character who is disillusioned with their lives, take them some place where they need to struggle to survive or feel uncomfortable, then let them fight to return to the life they always had but now see through new eyes.
Good luck.

If you are needing inspiration to write one, turn on some music like Mannheim Steamroller or Trans-Siberian Orchestra, close your eyes, and let your mind wander. Some ideas are bound to come to mind.
As for stories to read, oddly enough, look into the stories behind each of the Trans-Siberian albums. Each of them has a beautiful story attached.
Last year I got absolutely hooked on this book called "Why Does Santa Wear red." It tells stories of how a lot of the traditions, carols, and foods of the season came to be. If you like history, it is a remarkabkle read. Has some great recipes, too!
Happy holidays!

Put it all in a pillow case and throw it in the clothes dryer. Dry it on a low setting. It's okay if the money comes out of the pillow case. I've washed and dried dollar bills many times (accidentally), and they come out fine. Alternatively, you could line them all up on a flat, dry surface and let them air dry. Yes the bank should accept them once they have dried.
