When do you put presents under the tree?

Question

I put most of them under the tree as soon as the tree is out up, but i keep the ones from santa, and the bigger presents, hidden from the kids, and out them under the tree on Christmas eve.

what do you do?

The presents me and my hubby bought the boys and each other and my mom and family we put under our tree the first weekend in decemeber... the santa presents for the boys we buy different wrapping paper and name tags and we wrap those gifts and put them under the tree christmas eve night or more like early christmas morning time...

I am the same as you, the ones I would buy happily with my children, i.e, those for the grandparents and my husband (although I usually buy this away from my blabber mouth six year old) I put under the tree as soon as I have bought and wrapped them.



Of course, Santa delivers the kids on Christmas eve so I could not possibly put them under the tree before then.



The loft is where they live until such time.

Mine go under the tree as soon as I have wrapped them. Which is usually done as soon as the tree goes up so I can get rid of them from my cupboard. I don't have kids. My parents would put presents under as soon as they were wrapped, which was throughout December as they purchased presents, Santa's gifts were put under on Christmas Eve after we had gone to bed... Dad would set up any big toys... put them together etc... and make them look played with because Santa likes to set them up and play with them to make sure they were not broken... well that's the story we were told.. we thought it was great.

If people arrive with presents, we put them under the tree straight away. We put our presents to each other out on Christmas Eve, just before going to bed. The temptation to poke and shake them isn't there all the time then!!

My parents usually put them under as soon as they wrap them. Thats usually around a couple of days before Christmas. For the "Santa" ones, when I was little, where I still believed in Santa, my mom and dad would put them right before Christmas morning while I was sleeping. Ahh, good times.

I put them under the tree 12 days from Xmas. On Xmas Eve I stuff the stockings with goodies.



I should add that I love waking the next morning after putting out gifts to see that packages have been rearranged due to the kids trying to shake and guess what they might be. Then they try get clues about what it might be. It's part of the fun.

We have already got provides decrease than the tree. we are having all my kinfolk over Christmas day so everybody has been convey provides over so that they have got much less to convey Christmas day. My 2 oldest daughters who're 3&4 have began to form them into piles for whose names are on them. The infants do not in all probability touch them plenty and the cats have relatively left the provides on my own as long as their is a gap for them to sleep decrease than the tree they are satisfied. Then the provides from santa would be wrapped in tinkerbell paper for the ladies and Landons would be wrapped in automobiles paper and those we are able to placed out Christmas eve while they are all in mattress. we put all the presents from each other under the tree as soon as it is up or as soon as we have wrapped them, which ever comes first. my mum n dad keep some in there room too for us to have in d morn from "santa".

My parents put their presents to each other under there right away. Mine didn't appear until around 4 am... I got caught by "santa" taking a peekola...

I carry them down in the afternoon of Christmas Eve.

Even the ones from Santa.

It's just me and my mother, so there's no need to show off any ammount of presents before that. I get tempted to open.

Same with the cats.

we usually wait until christmas eve so that our son can come out in the morning and see them all for the first time. i think it gives a little more excitement to opening them. he won't be trying to open them if they're not there to open lol.
