Does your family have any christmas traditions? - Yes. The Sunday before Christmas we go to my grandparents' house for cookies and hot chocolate (or eggnog, coffee, tea, cider, etc.) and to see their tree. We used to do a tradition of "Candy Bags." Everyone picked a type of candy and we bought bags of the fun size versions of them. Then we took 24 plastic bags, divided them between us, and each person filled their bags however they wanted. There had to be 1 piece of candy for each person, and some days we would have "double bags" where there would be 2 pieces for everyone. We'd tie them up, toss them in a basket, and each evening someone would close their eyes, pick a bag, and hand out the candies. To this day it's not Christmas until I've had Peppermint Patties and Rollos! After a certain time on Christmas Eve, if we're staying with my parents, no one is allowed out to the tree until a set time in the morning. When that time comes we open stockings and then have to have breakfast. After that we pick one person and they pick a gift from under the tree and give it to the person it's too. They open it, then pick a gift for someone else (you're not allowed to pick for yourself).
Are you excited for christmas this year? - You bet!
What's your favourite part about Christmas? - Didn't I already answer this?
