Okay, I know almost everybody is spending christmas at family and friends and I am happy for you all but I am asking this question to those out there who do not have family to be with or maybe their friends are busy on that day. I want to know how do you celebrate this religious day. this is what I do: I have my three cats and myself so first thing in the morning I reflect on how much I love them and also thank god for giving us his son. We have a tiny cake from the grocery store which I place a birthday candle in for the christ baby. I have hidden away in the closset a few small things for myself that i will use on this day along with treats for my animals. I relax that day make a simple dinner, barbecue steak this year with baked potato and corn salad. I have some break and bake cookies and wine coolers and just enjoy the peace and no hassle day by watching movies and maybe reading a book or take a walk. have a small ceramic lighted tree on my table and that is the only decor

That sounds lovely! My traditions have gone haywire since my sister moved away to Arizona. Last year I had a mysterious fever and stayed home alone for the holiday. This year there is little money to spend so it will likewise be alone again. My house is decorated on the outside-not the inside. I will probably not have a tree. But that's okay-the trimmings are not as important as the reason for the season. God Bless! 8:)

Or you could try going away for the holiday. Go ski or at least go to the ski lodge and hang out. Go to the Bahamas and bask in the sun. I don't find I have to be religious to enjoy the Christmas break and I was already thankful for stuff during Thanksgiving.

I wouldn;t desire to spend it someplace warm, i admire Christmas while it snows. If i replaced into given the prospect to bypass to manhattan for Christmas ans New three hundred and sixty 5 days then i might leap on the prospect, if it replaced into the different trip spot, then i might stay at homestead. i'm an extremely homely individual and love adorning my homestead for Christmas.

That sounds like a good way to spend the day.

I've never been big on too many decorations, either. The little tree sounds nice. :)

That sounds beautiful.

I would trade the chaos of my family for that any Christmas.
