Who gets the first gift...?

On Christmas eve? Is it the person closest to the North Pole? Or does he have some kind of system?

There is relatively squiggly line (which goes between the poles) called the International Dateline which runs between Alaska and Russia. Everybody else in the world is 1-12 hours ahead or behind based on which of the 24 time zones they live in. The people that live on the side of Russia experience it first.

But, lets see here, a Christmasm story i once watched said that he froze the time space continuum and that was how he was able to get everyone there gifts. after all he was santa claus
