1.) Making cookies with my momma while my brother and dad are outside putting the lights up. =)

2.) Being with my whole family, cause i never see the whole family together.

3.) okay i'm 18 and i still wake up at like 7:00. hahaha

4.) my favorite thing i ever got was from my papaw, he bought me a heart necklace.

5.)umm i have like a serious favorite and a not serious favorite. my serious on it mary did you know. and my not serious is the jingle bells for sure.

6.) my favorite thing to eat is my grandmas mashed potatoes and her home-made rolls. there the best.

7.) well every year my grandma gets me and my brother a new ornament, but my favorite one so far is my little mermaid one, its just so pretty. lol

8.) christmas lights. i love all of the pretty colors. but i also love this manger scene my mom has. its just so pretty. and she has these lights that go around it and light it up. its gorgeous.

9.) decorating cookies with the whole family.. becasue we are always like play fighting over the icings and stuff and theres always sprinkles every where. we have so much fun.

10.) the funnies thing that happened to me on christmas eve was me and my best friend went ice skating, and i was like glued to the side cause i couldnt even stand up right. haha and i just grabbed on to this really hot random guys arm and he just looked at me and smiled and then we both fell on the ice. it was soo funny cause i didnt even know the guy and my best friend like gave me the funnies look and i just started laughting so hard.



um i pretty sure that this was like the funnest question i have ever answered. =)

1.Favorite Tradition? Wrapping up presents, baking cookies with my mom, putting out cookies and milk for Santa (my little brother still believes). OH and of course 9 carrots for all the reindeers.



2.Favorite Part of Christmas? Everything . . . Christmas music, Christmas movies, PRESENTS (the best part, lol), Christmas decorations, lights, Christmas food, buying/making/wrapping gifts, and basically the whole Christmas spirit.



3.What time do you wake up on christmas morning? About 6



4.Favorite thing you ever got? Umm, probably my phone =] I literally couldn't live without it =P



5.Favorite Christmas carol/song/whatever :p ? OMG so many . . . I love White Christmas, Let It Snow, The Christmas Song, and all the oldies like that. I love the Mariah Carey song. I love Sleigh Ride by the Ronettes, and Merry Xmas Everybody by Slade. And Happy Xmas War Is Over by John Lennon. And soooooo many more . . .



6.Favorite thing to eat for christmas dinner? I love roast turkey but it makes me feel a bit sick sometimes =/ So we usually have roast chicken instead, which is just as good. With lots of gravy. And roast potatoes. Mmmmmm ^^



7.Favorite Ornament? (that's a weird one :P) Ornament ??? Um, I guess the Christmas tree . . . lol that probably doesn't count as an ornament.



8.Favorite Christmas Decoration? I love all Christmas decorations! Tinsel, lights, paper chains!, trees, and of course the quirky little decorations me and my mom have bought/made over the years.



9.Funnest thing you do BEFORE christmas?(ex-skating,gingerbread houses etc...) I LOVE baking cookies. I always go ice skating with my friends on Christmas Eve, and then we go get milkshakes from the cafe. Sometimes I do that thing for charity when you put loads of toys in a shoebox for kids in Africa =]



10.Most funniest thing that happened on/near christmas/christmas eve? I saw mommy kissing santa ;]

-We have a gingerbread house contest on Christmas Eve and since there is 4 of us we always have the same partner. It is a HUGE competition and we plan months in advance :) fun fun!

-When I was little I forgot to buy one of my sisters a present, so while we were driving around the city looking at Christmas lights I made my dad stop at a gas station and give me 5 dollars. My mom took me in and I bought my sister a bottle of water and a paperweight. lol

1. Setting out the presents while my little brothers and sisters are asleep -Playing Santa basically then doing something to make a loud sound to wake them up so they wake mom an dad and all of us up screaming Santa came!

But some that made me laugh or squeal; a box of old teen magazines featuring Bobby Sherman (from my cousin - it was a nostalgia thing), a record player from my husband (again, another nostalgia thing), an Uncle Wiggly game (nostalgia), and when I was about 6 or 7 years old, a doll from my big brother.



5: Oh Holy Night. (I love a lot of them, though)

7: When I was about 4 or 5 my mom had a couple huge glass ornaments (about the size of a softball) that were always put on the very bottom branches of the tree. Oh, and also bubble lights - they were filled with colored fluid and when plugged in, when they got warm, bubbles would form and float to the top of the light bulb.

9: Going with my mom and dad to pick out which tree to cut. Back then, trees were not pre-cut. You went to a tree farm and picked out which tree you liked and they would cut it down for you. My mom and dad would argue about which tree to get. Mom always liked really tall ones and dad would tell her it was too tall, it wouldn't fit in the room. It was too tall for the height of the ceiling of the room. After about an hour of looking at tree after tree after tree, Dad would finally give in and let mom get whatever tree she wanted. We would get it home, and--- it would be too tall. Dad would get the hand saw and cut it shorter. often times taking off a couple rows of branches, to make it short enough. (we had 12 foot tall ceilings). I know that probably doesn't sound funny. But mom and dad are dead now, dad had been gone for 16 years and mom will be gone 10 years Nov. 23 of this year. The memories of silly things like that become very special after the people you love are gone.



10: Mom was cooking and when she opened up a drawer to get hot pads out, there was a mouse in the drawer. She got so mad that the mouse was in there, that she started chasing it around the drawer with the long handled meet fork (long tines on the fork) and and trying to stab it, all the while yell ling at it. My sister-in-law had been setting on the kitchen counter and got to laughing at my mom, and she ended up peeing herself from laughing so hard.
