Does anyone know any good Christmas stories? They could be about you seeing Santa, or anything! No stories like "The Night Before Christmas", ya know?

And please, type them in an answer, don't tell me the title! It could be a story-story too! Like that you got from a book!

I personally like Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.

I'm sure everyone knows it, but in case you don't here is the story...

This is the story of a very special reindeer. One Christmas not too long ago Rudolph, that's the name of this special deer, was standing alone on the day before Christmas. He watched as the other reindeer ran and played together, they had such fun. Rudolph was small but that wasn't the reason the others didn't ask him to join the reindeer games. Rudolph had a big, bright red nose. It was not a regular reindeer nose at all, it was so bright it seemed to glow. The other deer teased him, and they laughed about Rudolph's nose. They rolled in the snow with delight as poor Rudolph walked back to the stable, lonely and very, very sad.The others soon went back to their games and Rudolph tried to have fun by himself, because it was Christmas after all. It wasn't as much fun as playing with the others would have been, Rudolph sighed.

The light faded from the day and eveyone was scurrying to load Santa's sleigh. It was getting dark fast, and a fog was making matters worse. The mood was somber and even the reindeer began to quarrel about who would be the best one to lead the team this evening. Soon all was set and Santa climbed into the sleigh and he set off. He was already late, and it was so dark he couldn't even see the lead reindeer. Time was passing and it became clear that no headway was being made. Santa was flying in circles.

What would happen to Christmas? Santa was quite worried, he didn't even know how to get back to the North Pole, then dimly at first, he could see a faint red light. Santa directed the sleigh towards the light, and it grew steadily stronger. What could it be he thought? It was ever so bright. Carefully Santa brought the sleigh to rest close to the light. He found Rudolph playing by himself trying to enjoy Christmas Eve. Santa asked Rudolph if he would mind helping out with the sleigh, that big shiny nose is just what he needed to stay on track. Rudolph was thrilled, and jumped at the chance. The other reindeer knew this would save Christmas and they smiled their approval as Rudolph went to the front of the team. Jinggle bells rang out crisply on that dark night as Rudolph and his shiny nose lead Santa and the sleigh full of toys around the world. From that day forward Rudolph became proud to be known as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, ...

...a very special reindeer indeed!

The Song

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer:

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,

Comet and Cupid and Donder and Blitzen.,

But do you recall

The most famous reindeer of all?

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Had a very shiny nose,

And if you ever saw it,

You could even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer

Used to laugh and call him names;

They never let poor Rudolph

Join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve,

Santa came to say:

Rudolph with your nose so bright,

Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then how the reindeer loved him

As they shouted out with glee,

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,

You'll go down in history."

( I decided to throw in the song for a little extra fun. )

EDIT: I put two other stories up here... One was the story of Marley The Mouse and The Other Was Of The First Christmas.

But when I went to look at my finished answer only Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and half of Marley the Mouse was up there.

Phooey.

Well, Merry Christmas!

very good story, this is one that was posted last Christmas on this forum, and i saved it. A Pit Bull's Christmas T'was the night before Christmas and the shelter is dark, The whole place is silent, not even a bark. The dogs are all locked in their pens for the night, The staff has gone home and turned out the light. As I lay my head down on the cold concrete floor, I fondly recall the home I had before. The family I loved, who loved me right back, We'd share everything -- from secret to snack. Things couldn't be better at this time last year, But that has all changed and now I am here. I won't see the tree, the lights, or the snow, I'm scared and alone, my spirits are low. The others like me weren't put up for adoption, A new family and home, for us aren't an option. We've been locked up in cells as if we're all crooks, We don't deserve homes because of our looks. Not Diesel, or Bingo, or the young one named Percy, Deserve to be loved nor shown any mercy. While families celebrate holiday cheer, I know in my heart that my end is near. The vet will arrive, the lights will go on, By the time you awake, we all will be gone. A stranger will come and take me away, I'll never wake to see another day. As I close my eyes I'll shed you a tear, The fond memories I'll always keep near. The only thing I've ever asked of Santa Claus, Is to stop all these unfair and ridiculous laws. You said without me, your life was not full, So why does it matter that I'm a "pit bull"? In my dream Santa shouts when he's finished his deed, * "MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL...REGARDLESS OF BREED"!

I love the Polar Express! It's always been my fav since I was little! I also love Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red nosed reindeer, and anything else about christmas! Also maybe try making up a story if you are telling it to a little kid or a class! Talk about santa, and the people you are telling it to! Make it memorable!

I like the story Night Of The Meek. It is an episode from The Twilight Zone tv series. There is the original black and white one and a colour remake (1980's). Both are just as good in my opinion. I won't tell you what happens just in case you get to see them one day. Wouldn't want to ruin it for you, but if you want to read more about it, then click on the link...

One of my favorite Christmas stories was actually in the movie "Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas." The story goes like this...

Christmas is just a few days away. Mickey has been working extra long hours selling real Christmas trees to buy Minnie the perfect gift. Minnie has a beautiful locket...but no necklace to wear it on. So, Mickey is saving his money to buy her a chain for her locket.

Minnie has also been working long hours to buy Mickey the perfect gift. Mickey loves to play his harmonica...but he doesn't have a case to put it in. So, Minnie is waiting for a Christmas bonus from her boss to buy Mickey the harmonica case.

Well, on Christmas Eve a family that doesn't have much money comes to buy a Christmas tree from Mickey. Mickey decides to give them a tree. Well, his boss gets very angry and takes the money from Mickey's paycheck. Mickey is very upset because he isn't going to have enough money to buy Minnie her chain for her locket.

On Christmas Eve, Minnie goes in to see her boss to pick up her Christmas bonus. Well, instead of a bonus he gives her a fruitcake. So , she doesn't have enough money to buy Mickey the harmonica case.

Well, it is Christmas Day. Mickey and Minnie exchange gifts. Mickey opens his gift from Minnie, it is a harmonica case. Minnie opens her gift from Mickey, it is a beautiful chain for her locket. But you see, Mickey sold his harmonica for money to buy Minnie the chain. Minnie sold her locket to buy Mickey the case for his harmonica. Even though the gifts could not be used...they still felt the love behind each gift. It just teaches us Christmas isn't about the gifts...but the love we share when we think of others on Christmas.
